These are the steps involved in the data import process:
•Step 1: Create the Data Import Template – Setup a template with your chosen column headings. This can be reused for future imports.
•Step 2: Create the Data Import – Create a new data import in the Data Import module. This will be used to hold data until it is posted into the live database.
•Step 3: Copy and Paste the information into the Data Import Spreadsheet – Copy and Paste the data from the spreadsheet into the pre-designed Data Import Template.
•Step 4: View Import Records – Verify the information entered into the data import spreadsheet.
•Step 5: Run a Report to Excel – Export field information, including the barcode field to an excel spreadsheet to send to mail house.
•Step 6: Checks Complete – Move the data import to the next stage
