thankQ Help

Each Team Captain can have a Receipt Book sent out, which is a book of blank receipts each pre-printed with a sequential Receipt Number.  These numbers are unique across all Receipt Books.

Each Receipt Book is identified by the first Receipt Number in the book.  These need to be tracked so we know who has which Receipt Book and report on which books have not been returned.

These are managed using Profiles.  Each Participant in an Event can have a number of Profiles recorded against them.

Receipt Book data stored as:

Profile Name e.g. “Receipt Book”

Profile Value – store the Receipt Book number e.g. 700001

From Date – store the date the book was sent e.g. 08/07/2015

Until Date – store the date the book was returned e.g. 01/11/2015

Note – Field for storing any relevant textual data

Using the Search Mode function, it is possible to identify all Participants where they have a profile where:

Name = “Receipt Book”

Until Date IS NULL

This search can be saved and linked to a pre-defined report layout.  Each time that report is run, the search will be re-evaluated and the matching data would be exported.

Profiles can be imported via standard Data Import functionality, which allows for the import of Profiles based on data specified in an Excel worksheet.
