By default the R F and M scores are weighted equally. These can be manipulated by inserting a multiplier.

In the example above, more weight has been given to frequency. As a result John Turner’s score has increased to 22 points and he now has a higher RFM rating than Jane Smith.

When weightings are used, the revised RFM scores will appear in the Scalar Summary and Scalar Breakdown sublists.

1.Click the Edit button

2.Click Yes to the message notifying that any previous history will be deleted

3.Click on the Weighted Analysis tab

4.Click in the check box beside Use weighted rankings

5.Click anywhere on the sublist window to refresh

6.Enter the desired weighting

7.Click OK

8.Click the Run button on the Tool bar

9.Click Yes to the time it may take message

10.Click OK to the Campaign complete message
