Communication Rules use Power Searches created as per above. These are specific to Communication Rules and are not available outside this module.
The Communication Rules are used in conjunction with the Automation Scheduler whereby this will determine when the Rules are run.
1.Click New on the tool bar.
2.Enter a Name for the Communication.
3.Select the Type of communication eg Email, Letter, SMS from the drop down.
4.Click the tick box beside Hold in Drafts if you do not want to send at this time.
5.Select a Mailing Preference (setup under Lookup Values).
6.Enter a Description.
7.Enter a Valid Date from and Until if different to what has been populated.
8.Select when to Repeat the Rule.
9.Select a Scheduled Send Time.
10.Select the Powersearch Folder.
11.Select the Powersearch Name.
12.Enter an email address to Send Test Email to or Send Test SMS depending on the type.
13.Click OK to save.
