    Australian Property Expat Update:
    Independent Research on all Key Australian Capital City and Regional Markets

    Evening Seminar | Thu 08 Nov 2018

    The Australian residential property market is going through arguably the most interesting time since the GFC. With proposed taxation changes, APRA squeezing the Banks and the Royal Commission affecting the way money is lent, all at a time when both Melbourne and Sydney are starting to fall.

    Given that most Aussie expats will return home to Australia at some point, putting a strategy in place to hedge a multimillion-dollar principal place of residence or simply looking to build wealth back in Australia is no doubt on the minds of many in Hong Kong.

    Over this evening seminar, the speakers will explore:
    Which markets to avoid with likely price corrections of up to 25%;
    Which markets are coming close to the respective peaks; and
    Which markets are showing value and will perform strongly over the next few years.

    Besides, the key to any strategy both now and long term is the ability to secure funding required to purchase property(s) and assisting in building a portfolio. With banks’ constant changes and updates on policy requirements, the speakers will also review current market movement in the lender space for expats looking to refinance or purchase.
