    Sustainability Tour | Friday 5 October 

    T · PARK is the first self-sustained sludge treatment facility in Hong Kong. The “T” stands for “transformation”, which signifies the park’s approach “waste-to-energy”, to enhance public awareness of waste management and resource recovery. 

    T · PARK’s advanced incineration system can reduce the volume of sludge up to 90% and eventually lighten the load to the landfills. The heat produced during the incineration process can be recovered to generate electricity for on-site operational needs while surplus electricity generated can be exported to support up to 4,000 households. 

    Join us on this tour to explore the park’s green features and see how it engages in Hong Kong’s environmental forces through its ecological, recreational and educational facilities.
