This policy applies to online donations made through our website www.astartinlife.org.au
Should you change your mind we will happily refund your donation or cancel your pledge, as follows:
- You must notify us within seven (7) days via email or mail and indicate the reason for wanting a refund. We will make the refund within seven (7) days of receiving your request.
- If you have made a regular pledge, you can cancel at any time. You must notify us via email or mail stating the date you wish to cancel the pledge and the effective date of cancellation. While an explanation is not required, it would be helpful to us if you could state a reason for wanting to cancel your pledge.

A Start in Life collects personal information that you provide us for a nominated purpose. This information may include name, address, telephone numbers, membership name, email address and bank/credit card details.
How is the information is used
Uses of personal information by A Start in Life may include sending you an email newsletter, appeal, processing an online donation, setting up a direct debit, and following up enquiries that you may have made through the website.
Credit Card Security
Donations you make to A Start in Life using our online donation form are processed through Westpac PayWay.
Our donation page is encrypted, which means your personal information, including credit card number, name and address cannot be viewed by a third party.
Your credit card / bank account details are deleted once your payment has been cleared.
Changing your personal information
Where appropriate, you can always request details of your personal information and can update, change or correct it at any time.
