Buddy Walk - Australia is a national celebration held each October cities and towns across the country to raise the level of understanding and inclusion of people with Down syndrome in all aspects of social and family life.
People with Down syndrome, families, friends, work colleagues, school mates... in fact, everyone can join in Buddy Walk - Australia, to celebrate the achievements of people with Down syndrome and support and understand their needs and abilities.
Join us at Regatta Point for a Walk throuh Commonwealth Park along the forshore of Lake Burley Griffin. The walk will finish back at Regatta Point with a family fun day where there will be a jumping castle, face painting, kicking a footy, nail painting, sausage sizzle, music and dancing!!
Children and adults with Down syndrome, their families, friends, carers, schoolmates, workmates, and the whole community can join in, show their support, make new friends and have a great time!
Registration for Walk and Family Fun Day is FREE and Buddy Walk t-shirts are just $11 for earlybird orders. Donations and fundraising welcome!
